All Things Peaceful/Comforting...Cha Cha Cha @ Amar Colony

With cafes popping up in every nook and corner of the city, the concept is fast becoming a favourite. Each café has something unique to it, be it the menu, décor, music or setup – every factor adds a character to the place. If your idea of a café is a cosy setup with some soft music, books, coffee, tea n cakes, then you need to read further.

Located in a very quiet neighbourhood at the Amar Colony is Cha Cha Cha. As you walk by the lane you will come across a small structure that is all glass and dressed in bright colours like yellow and blue. With a giant tree as its umbrella, the place looks extremely inviting. The door opens to a beautifully designed two-floored café with wooden interiors and warm lights. Take my word when I say this, you will be pulled in by this place. With soft jazz music playing, it makes for such a quaint place.

Now, let’s talk about the menu. If you have a sweet tooth and cannot resist cakes, then let me tell you that this place will spoil you for choice. They have about 15 cakes in their menu and each on is unique in its appearance and flavour. Take the usual Carrot Cake, they have given it an artisan spin with icing some beautiful mini carrots on top. Their Fig and Honey Cake is a must, it was moist and had such perfect balanced sweetness to it. For people who believe that anything sweet means chocolate – you absolutely have to lay your hands on their Double Chocolate Cake and Nutella Brownies. Just a bite of these and you will be transformed to a place of utter bliss. Also they have the classic eats like Banoffee Pie and Blueberry Cheesecake. When it comes to the quality of their produce – you can trust them blindly.
A quintessential café goes all out with their research about teas and coffee and the case is no different with Cha Cha Cha. From Kullad Chai to Masala, Kadak, Green, Darjeeling and Earl Grey, they have everything good on their menu. What took us by surprise was their Long Sock Tea - a completely differently made, strong and full bodied tea! Their coffees are blended, locally roasted and some made exclusively for the café. Also they have a reasonable range of shakes, smoothies and juices too.

They have a very elaborate menu when it comes to food too. A long list of sandwiches and pastas await you there. I binged on their Chilli Cheese Toast, Ham & Cheese Sandwich and Penne Butter Chicken **drools** If you are one like me who is not that into beverages and enjoys their food more than anything then please do try their pasta. It is just the best of both the worlds i.e. butter chicken and pasta.

If your idea of an outing is sitting at a quiet place, eating or sipping on brews, talking to your friend or even reading a book then head to Cha Cha Cha now. You will keep coming back here and will be recommending it to everyone – I am doing the same. This places is an absolute yes and deserves a big thumbs up. Welcoming, pleasing, delightful, quaint, quiet, cosy – all the words that mean comforting and blissful are apt for this café.

Please your taste buds and senses, head to Cha Cha Cha!

PS: Light on the pocket too.
