Coolest place to HANGOUT with family





Hangout for sure is a place that would please people from all age groups, be it children or youngsters or even mid aged family people like us. It has got a lot to offer and is done in a very interesting way. It has clearly laid out separate areas for very young kids, teenagers and adults and the game stations are placed accordingly. From latest VR technology related rides to slot machines, spin the wheel, claw machines for children, to bowling arena, pool table, darts etc to amuse adults.





Shalini Vij is the brain behind such great concept. She is the very first women entrepreneur to start a business like Hangout; which is one of its kind in India. She has revolutionized the concept of entertainment in India with her brand Hangout and her entrepreneurial skills and passion; that is the driving force behind the success of Hangout. 

 
I recently took my daughter there and she had a time of her life. According to her the games for children are very interesting and one of the highlights is that in most games children win tickets. Upon collecting these tickets, one can redeem them for exciting gifts which again are kept keeping in mind the different age groups.

 
The sports diner offers amazing drinks and food, and one can sit back relax and enjoy while the kids indulge in games and all. As for me, this time even I played bowling and pool and had a great time myself.

 
The food and service was totally up to the mark, and I enjoyed some chicken dim sums, non veg kebab platter, chilly chicken, paneer tikka and chilli paneer in starters and almost every dish was nicely done. For main course I loved the lamb burger, which was extremely juicy and delicious and I also loved the Keema Pao, which too was delectable. The drinks were just fine and as per me this is an area of improvement which this place needs desperately.



Hang Out is not just another gaming zone or toddler area, it’s  a comprehensive centre for family, party fun, play and operate as a party facility and promotes festivities and events.  They understand the parental psych, the family needs and keep in mind the child's attention spans. 

Overall the experience at Hangout was completely worth it and loved by the entire family. I am sure my daughter will pull me for another visit very soon.

MOUTHWATERING DESSERT RECIPES ON EID - BY Dr. OETKER INDIA AND CHEF RANVEER BRAR





Eid ul-Fitr "festival of breaking of the fast” is an important religious holiday celebrated worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It’s the time when relatives and friends get together and enjoy scrumptious feast. Sweets and desserts make for an important part of the feast and often take centre stage on this auspicious day. On this occasion, FunFoods by Dr. Oetker recommends tasty desserts which are mouthwatering, easy to make, and would allow you to enjoy the festival as well with your loved ones.

Strawberry and Dates Roll Recipe by Chef Ranveer Brar, Creative Kitchen, Dr. Oetker FunFoods               
                                                              
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
10-12 nos. Dates, seedless
75 g (5 tbsp) Dr. Oetker FunFoods Strawberry Dessert Topping
50 g Almonds, chopped
50 g Cashewnuts, chopped
5-6 nos. Marie Biscuits, crushed
50 g (3 tbsp) Desiccated Coconut Powder 


 
Directions:
1.       In a blender jar, add dates and 2 tbsp strawberry dessert topping. Blend for 20-30 seconds or until you get a coarse paste.
2.       Take out above mixture in a bowl and add nuts. Mix well, make small round balls and shape them into cigars or cylinders.
3.       In a bowl mix together biscuits and 2 tbsp coconut powder.
4.       Dip above rolls in remaining strawberry dessert topping and finally put them in biscuit mix to get good coating all over.
5.       Put remaining coconut powder on top of rolls and serve cold.

Shahi Lucknowi Seviyaan Recipe by Chef Ranveer Brar, Creative Kitchen, Dr. Oetker FunFoods                                                                
 

Servings: 2
Ingredients:
500 ml Full Cream Milk
50 g Almonds, chopped
50 g Cashewnuts, chopped
60 g Roasted Vermicelli
1 tbsp Condensed Milk
1 tbsp Sugar
50 g (3 tbsp) Dr. Oetker FunFoods Milk Shake Mix Kesar Pista
½ tsp Kewra Water
1 tbsp Pistachio, chopped

 

Directions:
  1. Heat saucepan (low flame) add milk, almonds, cashewnuts and vermicelli. Let it cook for 5 minutes or until milk starts to boil.
  2. Add condensed milk, sugar and milk shake mix. Cook for 5 minutes or until Milk shake mix is dissolved completely and mixture is thick in consistency.
  3. Pour kewra water and mix well. Garnish with pistachio and serve.

Mayo Phirni Recipe by Chef Ranveer Brar, Creative Kitchen, Dr. Oetker FunFoods
 

Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 Litre, Full Cream Milk
90 g (6 tbsp) Rice Flour
140 g Sugar
1 tsp Green Cardamon Powder
8-10 nos. Cashewnuts, chopped
5 nos. Almonds, chopped
60 g (4 tbsp) Dr. Oetker FunFoods Veg Mayonnaise

 

Directions:
1         Heat milk in a pan (medium flame) until it comes to boil and then simmer for 1-2 minutes.
2         Add rice flour, sugar, cardamom powder and cashewnuts. Stir continuously to prevent lumps.
3         Continue stirring on low flame for 6-7 minutes or until it begins to thicken. Finally take it out from flame and let it cool down.
4         Add mayonnaise to above mixture and mix well.
5         Pour the mixture into serving bowls. Refrigerate it for 2 hours, garnish it with almonds and serve.

Gulab Kheer Recipe by Chef Ranveer Brar, Creative Kitchen, Dr. Oetker FunFoods
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 Litre, Full Cream Milk
100 g Rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes
100 g Sugar
1 tsp Green Cardamon Powder
8-10 nos. Cashewnuts, chopped
60 g (4 tbsp) Dr. Oetker FunFoods Milk Shake Mix Rose
5 nos. Almonds, chopped


 
Directions:
1         Bring milk to boil in a large saucepan.
2         Add rice, sugar, cardamom powder, cashewnuts and rose milk shake mix. Simmer over low heat until the mixture thickens and the rice is cooked completely.
3         Pour the mixture into serving bowls. Refrigerate it for 2 hours, garnish it with almonds and serve.
