- Eros Hotel, New Delhi celebrates Songkran Festival by offering guests an
enticing variety of authentic Thai dishes at Tamra from 13 to 20 April 2016.
The Songkran Festival, popularly known as Thailand Water Festival is one of the most important
festivals in the Thai culture and is celebrated as the traditional Thai New
Year.
The festival features a wide variety of Thai specialties ranging from exquisite
appetizers to traditional dishes. Recently appointed Thai Chef Nisa Yimthong
wishes to bring the most authentic Thai gourmet flavours to guests through a
rich array of local delicacies for a gastronomic sojourn. Guests will be able
to savour various Thai cuisine flavours artistically crafted by Chef Nisa, such
as Tom Kha Hed (Spicy and sour coconut broth with
mushroom, galangal and chilli), Tom Yam Goong (Spicy
and sour broth with prawns, kaffir lime, lemongrass and chilli), Nam
Tok Moo (Grilled pork salad with toasted rice and Thai herbs), Gai
Yang (Thai roast chicken with sweet chilli sauce).A live curry
station has been set up at Tamra offering a wide selection of curries,
vegetarian and non-vegetarian options such as Pad Krapow Gai (Wok
Fried Chicken with chilli garlic and basil), Gai Phad Mad Memuang (Stir
fried chicken with cashew nut, chilli and oyster sauce, Pla Thod (Crispy
fried fish with tamarind sauce), Paad Ki Mow Talay (Spicy
fried rice with chilli paste egg, Thai basil and seafood). For some
sweet indulgence, Chef Nisa Yimthong has specially prepared a traditional Thai
dessert Tub Tim Krob (Water
chestnut dumplings in sweet coconut syrup) giving the perfect end
to your meal.
Drawing inspiration from the Songkran Festival in Thailand, Tamra brings to
their patrons an exciting and lavish spread of authentic Thai cuisine during
lunch and dinner buffet to capture the true essence of the Thai New Year
celebration.

Lunch Buffet: Rs. 2,100 plus taxes for lunch
Dinner Buffet: Rs. 2,300 plus taxes for dinner
Kids Buffet: Rs.1,500 plus taxes
Lunch Buffet - Noon to 3:30 p.m.
Dinner Buffet - 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Guests are also invited to indulge in Sunday brunch on 17 April 2016 at Tamra
offering Thai delicacies. The Thai gastronomical delights paired with an
exquisite Champagne selection are sure to uncork the Sunday spirit during the Songkran festival.
