A nice and vibrant hotel in
the most happening part of Goa, next to Calangute is Hyatt Place. The
Gallery cafe is a 24/7 dining place which serves both the in house as
well as outside guests.
We stayed at Hyatt Place for a couple of days and had experienced this place multiple times.
Quite a big restaurant with varied seating options like indoor tables
and chairs aldo the loungers. They also have Al Fresco seating.
The breakfast is a good spread of Indian and English breakfast dishes
starting from muesli , nuts with milk. Fresh and canned juices , freshly
cut fruits to bread rolls, donuts, cakes croissants and muffins.
Egg station , Dosas, pav bhaji , paranthas etc. They try and differ in their menu each day to make it better.
They also put up a dinner buffet which as per me is a nice initiative but there are not many takers for it.
We also tried their Ala carte menu and liked most of the dishes we
ordered like the Chicken and bacon grilled sandwich, pasta and the seekh
kebab.
Their is a Bar counter in the centre too from where you can order your choice of alcoholic as well as non alcoholic drinks etc.
Service staff is really good and always ready to help. But I think they
need more people to service their guests and make the whole scene
running smoothly. The Manager F & B is a highly professional guy and
knows well what he is doing. I liked his attitude towards his workforce
as well as his work.
As the place is hardly 2 months young , their is ample scope of
improvisation and betterment to make it even more brighter and better. I
wish them all the very best.
