California based (US) burger chain Carl's Jr has launched its first restaurant in India at Select Citywalk Mall, Saket in Delhi on August 8, 2015.
The California-based chain is the third burger brand to foray into India in recent months -- the other two being Burger King and Wendy's. It’s the fourth largest burger chain in the world and India is the 36th country where it has started its operations. The brand has been brought to India by Cybiz Bright Star Restaurants, owned by Gurgaon-based Cybiz Corp, through a master franchise agreement with CKE Restaurants Holdings, which is the parent company of Carl's Jr.

We, as Bloggers and Media were invited today (7th August) to experience and savour the range of burgers and other things on offer. As experienced by us today, the burger chain, Carl's Jr is a mix of casual dining ambience, gourmet food quality and QSR speed of service. Carl's Jr has introduced a customized and specially designed menu suited to local tastes and palate along with beer on the tap and a soft beverages bar. The store is quite spacious and has a good amount of seating of different forms. Wooden bench type, lounge type, chairs etc.

We tried almost all the burgers and sides. They are doing Chargrilled patties in most of their burgers, be it veg or non veg. The hand breaded patties range is also on offer which has Chicken Fillet and the Santa Fe Chicken Fillet. Though, I loved their Chargrilled Chicken Fillet Range a lot. Their Tandoori Pepper Chicken was the star of the day for me, loved the honey wheat bun. The other burgers available in this range are Tikka masala and Mango Jalapeno pepper chicken (MJ chicken).

They also have the Chargrilled chicken range, which incorporates the chicken patties instead of fillets. The range includes Jalapeno with cheese, Famous Star, Superstar with cheese (with double chicken patty) and the Mile high burger with cheese which has onion rings too as filling.

The vegetarian range is also commendable. The Nine Jewel (tandoori) veg burger is awesome and has 9 different types of veggies used in its patty. The Tandoori Paneer is also good with a Chargrilled Paneer (thick cut) used as a patty. Other veg burgers are the Aloo Achari and the Fenugreek Santa Fe burger.

Range of Burgers and Sides (Select city walk outlet)
The Sides range on the Menu includes Fries, Wasabi Fries, Hand Breaded Onion Rings, Fenugreek Veggie Strips, Chicken Tenders and Chicken Legs and Wings. The Price Range starts from Rs.99.
One more plus or the highlight of Carls Jr. will be its unlimited offer on cold drinks (soft drinks). You pay once for the dinks and refill it any numbers of times as you want from the self service drinks vending machine.

Carls Jr. has made every effort to ensure that the Indian customers enjoy the same premium quality experience that they are known for globally. They have developed a dedicated menu for India which includes an extensive vegetarian selection. Their food is made fresh to order with healthy premium ingredients and they take will try their best in offering best in class customer service to succeed and compete in the most dynamic and unique market of Indian subcontinent.
