Bloggers Meet at Bootleggers Republic Cafe - A Must Visit Place

Would you rather enjoy today, or have great memories tomorrow to cherish forever...??

Would you optimize decision making in life to enjoy great experiences in the moment or to create fab. memories to look back later on....???

They are not the same thing..... to get one you may have to let off the other.... In other words, most often if you want to maximize the likelihood of experiencing pleasure in the present means you minimize the likelihood of creating a great memory to look back on in the future......

In life whether we go for a get together...a party....or we travel .... Anything illustrates the choice..... Sit on a beach in Bahamas for a week or eat and savour the best food alone or with friends or party hard . and you’ll almost certainly enjoy a decent amount of experienced, in-the-moment pleasure. But it’s not likely to lead to many memories, especially if you have done all this before too.....

On the other hand, wind your way through the busy  streets of a heritage city or a crowded place for the first time with your camera on full throttle and you’ll likely experience some harrowing and maybe not altogether very fun moments, but you’ll be telling stories about your journey years later........

The same happened yesterday with most of us who met at a no agenda meeting or as I call it a time pass fun get together.....
Which slowly and gradually turned into he'll of a ride transforming our thoughts and feelings. .....

Except our moderator and my mentor Avininder Singh Jee ...Most of us just knew each other on FB.......met only for the 1st time to be in for a lifetime......

Thanks to our lovely host Viju of Bootleggers Republic Cafe or i must say the mafia-so (Den of a Mafia Don)......to have us and serve us in the most hospitable manner possible.....The interiors of the cafe are all in Red and Black creating a feeling of a hideout of a Don......Awesome food from Chef Peters and mind boggling service from our dear friend Harish and his team......

The best cocktails I have ever had and the most delicious finger food too......the Indian main course was just fine...no wow factor....but we usually dont visit such hideouts for Dal and butter chicken so its ok.....The main attraction is the Cocktails and the starters..........I must say the best i have had lately.......The seekh kebeb was juicy and yumm....the tikkas were succulent and perfectly done....the galauti sliders or the mini burgers were awesome.....The veg momos were really good too....the presentation of the plate was done beautifully......hats of to the chef.......

Club Sandwich

They have a very wide variety of cocktails and drinks mixed with vodkas, gins, rums and specially Beer ones....Lovely.........and they offer a choice of customizing the drinks too.....We had a real good time...... Obviously the company I was in played a major role to create the overall bliss......

 

Everyone was clicking pics with all sorts of hip hop gadgets DSLR'S. ..Smart phones etc.etc.....
We all are used to such flights of photo clicking as soon as the food arrives on our table...So nobody was irritated. ....These pics are the most cherished memory which will always stay with us....

The hot and happening people whom I met surely do not need any special intro...as they all are well ronounced on social media..........

We had many rounds of discussions on several facets of blogging..media ...Food. ..events. ...and how can we Indians not discuss politics not as in parliamentary one but the not so good and healthy politics running on FB and social media..... We promised not to be a part of it .......

After all these heavy thoughts ...The lighter moment was required which was filled with the lovely warmth of the beautiful desserts or creations done by our very sweet ............... from Cake Couture. ...... No words to express my joy.....I have had her sweet and lovely  creations some days back too....and I must say they are the best choco pies...macaroons....cup cakes....cheese cakes. ..tarts I have ever savoured in my life......Cheers to her.....May you make more n more of these and invite us to binge upon......:) :) :)

Overall an awesome meeting of like minded or the not so like minded but still can sail together on the same boat .......

The venue was beautiful and so the food..... Cheers to all !!!
